Week # 11 ____________________________________ 4/30/2008 Make ups – Remember to make up matches as soon as possible. If you have scheduled the date please notify results@sfda.org. Make ups must be scheduled within 30 days of the original date.
· The Special Event date has been changed. The original date was May 11 but this is mother’s day so we are changing the date to Sunday May 18. All other related information remains unchanged. · The ballots for MVP have been distributed. Please have your teams fill them out and mail them in to the P.O. Box in the envelope provided by end of play on week 14. · The SFDA has set up a trust account to raise moneys for Funeral expenses as well as support for Tony's Daughter and Granddaughter. If you would like to make a financial donation, please contact me directly as soon as you can! John Bouvier at 415.845.8759 or President@sfda.org. There will be a Memorial and Tournament for Tony on Sunday May 4th, 2008. It will start at Noon at Eagles Drift In, Noriega and 19th Ave. I would personally like to thank JR for his generosity in this sad time. From Noon to Two PM we will have food, music, bevies, friends and family all meeting up to celebrate Tony's Life and share memories & tell stories. From Two PM on we will have A Memorial Shoot in Tony's name for fun and to raise money for his family and expenses. Straight Chicago Seeded Blind Draw Doubles is the game and $11 is the entry fee. The memorial will go until it is over, so please make plans to come! · Congratulations to our ADO Winners. Jesse Sechak and Joanne Plachutin will be representing the SFDA in the regionals. · SF Open Logo Contest – 10 Days Left. We are accepting all submissions for said event from now until the May 2008 Board meeting (5/12/08 at The Little Shamrock). If you want to submit a logo or for further details please contact John Bouvier at SFOpen@sfda.org . The winner of the contest will receive an SF Open Tee shirt, be credited in our program and get a $50 certificate good for ANYTHING at the 2008 SF Open. · SF Open Information meetings. We are going to begin holding meetings for the SF Open. The first meeting will be held Friday May 2 at Eagles Drift-In 7pm prior to the tournament. Please come with ideas or if you wish to know more.
